Redington Pass

(Carrie) Charles took me up Redington Pass for a nice Saturday afternoon drive (he also wanted to get his 4 x 4 truck out on a dirt road). It was nice and sunny outside - a wonderful 90 degrees. As we started the drive up the canyon, I was quite surprised to see this sign:

While we didn't see any illegal activity, we did pass 4 police cars (one of which was a forensic unit), an ambulance and a firetruck that were not in a hurry to get anywhere. After about 45 minutes or so of driving, we walked around a trailhead where Charles, Mark and Rachel went mountain biking a few years ago. It was a beautiful spot, so of course we had to take a picture.
