2:1 ratio

2:1 is the male to female ratio that will be in our home next year (or possibly this year)! That's right! We are expecting a boy who is due January 3. I bet he will be born on Christmas day. Any other guesses out there?

I had very bad "morning" sickness that would strike practically every afternoon and evening for the first half of this pregnancy. Luckily the sickness is gone, but now I get to deal with bad heartburn. The only true craving I have had is for *good* macaroni and cheese (I love Boston Market's version), not the stuff from a box. I've only wanted macaroni and cheese three or four times, and never in the middle of the night (luckily for Charles!)

Here are some pictures of our cute little guy:

It's only been in the past few weeks that my belly has popped out. I can still wear some of my non-pregnancy shirts and exercise shorts, but definitely am more comfortable in maternity clothes. I finally look pregnant and not just like I am gaining weight! Here are some recent pictures of my belly:

Congratulations! I am SO happy for you! My baby girl was due on December 24th but born on December 18th, so I'm going to guess December 24th. :)

You look so great Carrie! I think it's a great idea to take a picture of your changing self. . . it's amazing how fast he grows in a week, huh?!

We are so excited for you -- not long now :) Better stock up on sleep now because it'll be a never ending game of catch-up after he's here!
