They say it's your birthday...

...and it was mine!!! My birthday was two weeks ago. Charles made me some delicious chocolate chip pancakes to start the day. I was completely surprised when I got a call from the receptionist at work to pick up a package. Charles sent me some gorgeous flowers!!!


That evening, Charles cooked a wonderful dinner of Angel Chicken. I haven't requested a birthday cake in years - I always ask for a fruit crisp. Charles made a peach blackberry crisp with homemade cinnamon ice cream. Yummy!


I opened presents (a hiking hat, earrings and treats) and we went on a hike up Sabino Canyon. It was a very fun and memorable birthday!
