Saturday we went to Lowe's and bought a few bags of garden soil and a bunch of plants. Charles finished the garden spot on Saturday, but we discovered we didn't buy enough soil to fill the space.
Monday Charles bought more soil and I planted everything tonight. I love looking out the window and seeing a garden! I just hope it grows well now.
Here I am planting some zucchini and spaghetti squash. I had planted the peppers at this point. We plan to have the squash grow up on tomato cages to save some ground space.
Here I am planting the one and only tomato plant for our garden. We still want to plant some cantaloupe and spinach in the remaining space. If you look close, you can see the pea plants growing in the other garden spot. They are on the right side of the picture. The bushy things are Mexican Bird of Paradise that Charles wants to get rid of one day.

I'm so impressed Carrie and Charles! You guys make a great team. And how great of a garden is that! It's fun to see short sleeves and shorts:)
