We went on a four-hour hike this past Saturday to Maiden Pools in Ventana Canyon. It was a glorious 70 degree December day - shorts and T-shirt weather. This was the first time either of us had been on this particular hike and we really enjoyed it! The last bit of the trail was full of steep rocky switchbacks, but the scenery, sunshine and joy of being on a hike together made the hike well worth every step.

I've heard that hike is well worth it. I've never done it but it looks really pretty.
