We made some homemade salsa on Sunday. We both decided it was so good that we'll pass on the store bought salsa in favor of the homemade version any day! I got this recipe from my friend Ximena.
World Championship Salsa
1/2 orange
2 cloves garlic
cilantro (about the size of a silver dollar)
1/2 medium onion, quartered
3 medium roma tomatoes, quartered
1 TBSP salt (we used only 1 tsp and it tasted fine)
1/2 small jalapeno pepper
1 TBSP lemon juice
Squeeze juice of the orange into a food processor/chopper. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend/chop to the desired consistency. Makes about 2 cups of salsa.

YUM, this sounds so good! I can't wait to try it out!
That looks yummy!
That sounds amazing!!! I can't wait to try it out. We need our tomatoes to start growing in the garden. We also are growing cilantro. I just called you a while ago. I am so excited for you and Charles to come out the end of July. I wish you were staying more than one day, but we'll take what we can get! :) Love you and miss you!
Sounds delicious. Hopefully we'll get good produce out of our garden and can make a batch!
