Our Memorial Day weekend fun continued Sunday in Mesa. Sunday morning we went to the cemetery to put flowers on Charles' grandparent's graves.
We then went to the Visitor's Center at the Mesa Temple and saw a presentation on families and an original art exhibit that opened the day before we came. We loved the artwork we saw! Here are some of our favorites:
This is a replica of the Seoul Korea Temple made out of crystal
We also walked around the Mesa Temple grounds and saw some interesting things:
Petrified wood
When we got home, we picked half of the carrots from our garden and shredded them. We have so many carrots!!! I froze half of the carrots and dehydrated the other half. We will be eating our carrots for a very long time.
Monday morning we went to a Memorial Day service at the cemetery by our home. We both enjoyed the bagpipes/flag procession and bugler that played Taps. It was a very nice way to remember Memorial Day.

The crystal replica of the temple is beautiful. I love the picture of Charles with the carrots! He looks so happy! I can't believe all of those carrots.
