The Fence
Last year we had a landscaper visit our home and give us some ideas for our front yard. One of the suggested items was to remove our split rail fence. I didn't want to remove the fence because it gave our yard a bit of character. Last week we bought some pots for the front porch to fill with flowers and 12 marigolds to plant in our dirt for a bit of color. When I realized that no one could see our colorful additions because of the fence, Charles happily took the fence down in no time at all! Here are the before and after pictures.

I think it looks great! And hooray for color -- I'm trying to come up with some for our front/side area too -- planters are a great idea.
I love the flowers! Your yard looks great.
Your flowers are beautiful, how fun to have your own home and yard! We dream of the day we'll own a home!
It's amazing how taking out the fence has opened up your yard. The flowers look beautiful.
