Beat Cancer Boot Camp 5K
Charles and I participated in a fun 5K obstacle course run Saturday morning. We found out about this event because my company was a sponsor for the Beat Cancer Boot Camp 5K. We ran with a group of my coworkers as "Sunquest Squad #2". We jumped over bales of hay, ran through tires, climbed over two walls that were 6 feet high, pulled a very heavy fire hose through the dirt, climbed over police barricades, did push ups, lifted ammo boxes, and crawled through a mud pit. We both had a lot of fun and want to participate next year!
