Just kidding I know where it is. Fort Huachuca is an army base 75 miles to the south east of Tucson right off of AZ highway 90. It is located in Cochise County, in southeast Arizona, about 15 miles north of the border with Mexico. Sierra Vista, which annexed the fort in 1971, is located south and east of the post, and Huachuca City, is to the north and east. It is actually a historic army base that has been around since the late 1800's. Geronimo was held captive there for some time.
I was called down to the office trailer at the hospital last Wednesday along with 4 other co-workers. We had heard for sometime that they were looking to make some personnel changes at the hospital. So a couple of the guys that went with me to the office trailer were pretty nervous in that they thought we were being called down to get laid off! As it turned out we were all transferred to the Fort to run the water mains and install shower valves for the Army barracks that Sun Mechanical is working on. There are 4 buildings with 3 levels of 50 rooms on each floor. Including the laundry facilities and heating water for the heat.
The pictures below show what the barracks will look like when completed. and also the site map for the new barracks. I am currently working in the first barrack building.

Looks like a big project in a HOT, DRY environment, ok so you are in the desert, I forget!
I am glad you didn't get laid off! I can just imagine something like that happening and worrying that you were going to be told bad news. It does look for very hot and dry! Drive safe!!! :)
