(Carrie) We took our first hike of 2009 on Saturday, January 3. I wanted to explore the Creekside Trail in Sabino Canyon, so that is where we went. It turns out the trail was only 0.2 miles long, but it was a beautiful hike over rocks and along the creek. Plus a trail we hadn't been on before. We ended up going to Sabino Dam and took alot of pictures and watched people play in the water. On the way down the canyon, we took other random trails that just led us back to the paved road. It was a fun and relaxing hike, and we enjoyed exploring some more of Sabino Canyon together.
