The BIG Move (and vacation)

(Carrie and Charles) We drove to Utah for Labor Day week for a few reasons. Number 1: to see our family and friends. Number 2: To hike/fish in the Uintas. Number 3: To move the rest of Carrie's belongings to our new Arizona home. We accomplished two of the three items!

We were unable to fish/hike in the Uintas because a cold front passed through on Labor Day, sending inches of snow where we wanted to hike/fish. Here's a picture of some hail that fell at Carrie's parent's house in Layton that same morning.

We spent Labor Day playing darts and luckily made it on a hike to the waterfall up Adam's Canyon. It was a wonderful hike! That evening we had a BBQ at the Jones' residence where dodge ball was the game of the evening. It turned out to be a memorable Labor Day after all!

The rest of the week was spent eating out with family and friends, going to the Temple, attending Music and the Spoken Word, roasting marshmallows for strawberry smore's, packing (Carrie), home repairs (Charles), and golfing. It was great to relax a bit and visit with our loved ones. We can't wait to see everyone again!

Here's a picture of the loaded Uhaul, full of Carrie's stuff.
