This year Charles and I celebrated 6 Months to Christmas with the missionaries. I went to Pack Meeting and made a homemade strawberry pie while Charles went with the missionaries on splits. After returning from splits we had the missionaries guess what was special about the day. After a few wrong guesses, I played some Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas music as a hint and they were then able to guess right away. We enjoyed our pie and listening to Christmas carols for the evening. I love this little tradition!

That's a cute idea. I will have to do that next year. My sister did a similar thing with a half birthday party for her girls in the winter. It was really cute.

I love your tradition! I still remember doing the white elephant exchange a couple of years ago. That was so fun!
