Hang the laundry out to dry
(Carrie) We discovered this week that if we start the dryer, the washing machine fills up with water instead of the dryer turning on. Very strange, I know, but there is something messed up with the electical part of our washer/dryer combo that we haven't figured out how to fix yet. There were two loads of clean, wet laundry waiting to be dried when we discovered the problem. Since we really needed dry clothes, we hung the laundry in every spot we could find in our home - over shower curtain rods, off the ironing board, on towel racks and even on the darts hanging on the dart board!

That's hilarious! Hopefully you can get your washer/dryer fixed soon.
Arizona is a GREAT place for a clothesline -- I remember our laundry smelling like orange blossoms -- nothing better than that! Plus, by the time you finish hanging out a load, it's dry enough to take it down:)
