(Carrie) Last weekend I took a solo road-trip from Tucson to Phoenix to visit my good friends from college, Shelley and Ximena. That was my first time driving that far by myself (in Arizona). It is a two-hour trip (one-way) from Tucson to Phoenix, with road construction along the way. I had Mapquest directions and only made one wrong turn on my way back to Tucson! Not bad for not knowing the freeways and streets in Phoenix. Shelley, Ximena and I spent the evening talking, eating tacos and watching my wedding video. It was a fun night for me! Charles also enjoyed his evening of watching the Utah Jazz game and working on a Sacrament Meeting talk. I can't believe Charles drove that stretch of the road every other weekend when we were engaged. What an amazing guy!
