A week before Christmas, Charles and I went to the Mesa Temple. We enjoyed looking at the Christmas lights and displays. We especially loved being in the Temple with each other.
Mom and dad came to spend a few days at Christmas with us. Thursday evening we took them to see the lights and displays at Winterhaven.
This gingerbread house is my favorite display at Winterhaven.
A mariachi band played at the home with the Wishing Tree.
The Friday before Christmas, I took mom and dad to a Farmer's Market and got some delicious crepes from Planet of the Crepes. In the afternoon we went to the dam in Sabino Canyon. Charles had to work Friday, and we were sure glad to see him when he got home!

Saturday morning dad and Charles played golf while mom and I went shopping. Saturday afternoon we went on our traditional Christmas Eve geocaching adventure. We found two of the four caches we were looking for. We also walked around Agua Caliente Park.

One of our Christmas Eve traditions is to decorate sugar cookies. After we ate a nice ham dinner, we decorated our cookies. I think they all look fabulous and tasted great!

It was a fun Christmas 2011! Happy 11 months to Christmas!
